Our recipe from Sfakia is a delicious oven-baked lamb. Thyme and oregano and extra virgin Plakias Olive Oil elevate its taste. The potatoes are also flavored with thyme, oregano and extra virgin Olive Oil Plakias.
Instructions
- Squeeze the lemons. Pour extra virgin Plakias Olive Oil, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper into the lemon juice.
- Put the lamb, which we have cut into portions, in a pan and pour the mixture with the lemon juice. Mix to cover all the lamb with our mixture. Leave it in the fridge for an hour.
- One hour later, we cut our potatoes. Add extra virgin Plakias Olive Oil, thyme, salt, pepper and oregano to the potatoes. Stir to get the herbs everywhere and add our potatoes to the pan with the lamb and a little water.
- Bake in the oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 1 hour. After 1 hour, lower the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius and continue baking for another half hour. If necessary, add water.
