Brownies with olive oil Plakias Olive Oil

INGREDIENTS

120 ml (1/2 cup) Plakias Olive Oil
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
150 grams (3/4 cup) powdered sugar or granulated sugar
90 grams (1/2 cup) brown sugar
3 large eggs
40 grams (1/2 cup) cocoa powder, sifted
70 grams (1/2 cup) all-purpose flour
75 grams (1/2 cup) chocolate chips*

Olive Oil Brownies You will love them. Not only are they dairy-free, but they’re delicious, puffy in the center and full of chocolate chips and crunchy on the outside.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C (350 F) fan / 160 C (320 F) fan. Line an 8-inch square pan with baking paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the olive oil, Plakias Olive Oil vanilla and sugar and mix briefly.
  3. In another bowl, put the eggs and mix with a fork for about 30 seconds or until they are homogeneous.
  4. Add eggs to the sugar mixture, along with cocoa powder, flour and chocolate chips. Stir gently with a spoon or spatula to combine. Pour the mixture into the pan.
  5. Bake for about 28-30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let it cool a little before removing it from the pan. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

NOTES:

*Chocolate Chips: Use dairy-free chocolate if you want to make this recipe dairy-free.
Serving: In order to serve them the next day, heat the brownies in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
